The Community Foundation of Boone County (CFBC) is excited to announce the additions of two new members to its Board of Directors: Mason Gordon, Economic Development Team Lead at HWC Engineering, and Hugh Kelly, Associate Vice President of Manufacturing and Site Head at Eli Lilly in Lebanon.

Mason Gordon brings a wealth of experience in economic development, particularly in rural revitalization. As a passionate advocate for rural communities, Mason has secured over $80 million in funding for development projects across Indiana. His dedication to the revitalization of rural areas led him to pursue a master’s degree in Ireland, where he gained an international perspective on rural problem-solving. Mason was recently named a recipient of the 2024 Indianapolis Business Journal’s 20 in Their Twenties award.

Hugh Kelly, who has served on the CFBC Grants Committee since 2023, joins the Board with a strong background in manufacturing and community service. As Associate VP of Manufacturing and Site Head at Eli Lilly, Hugh plays a key role in the company’s operations in Lebanon. Originally from Ireland, Hugh has made Indiana his home and is deeply committed to supporting organizations that meet the needs of his local community.

“We are thrilled to welcome both Mason and Hugh to the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors. Their expertise in community-focused leadership will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen and support Boone County. Their unique perspectives and passion for our region will help propel the Foundation’s mission forward in new and exciting ways.”
