The Community Foundation of Boone County (CFBC), in partnership with the Boone County Health Department, is proud to announce the Boone County Resource Guide is now available in four languages: English, Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole.
This expansion ensures more residents – especially those who speak Boone County’s top three non-English languages – can easily access essential information about services such as housing, food assistance, healthcare, education, legal support, and more.
The multilingual translation project was funded by CFBC as a direct outcome of the Think Tank series hosted in 2024 and the community-wide language survey that followed. These efforts highlighted Boone County’s evolving linguistic diversity and underscored the need to make critical resources accessible to all.
“This is about belonging, and ensuring every Boone County resident has access to the information they need to live healthy, connected lives. We are proud to support a project that meets real needs and removes barriers for families across our communities.”
CFBC’s investment in translation services, alongside the Boone County Health Department’s production of the Resource Guide, reflects a shared commitment to building a welcoming and informed community for all who call Boone County home.
The Boone County Resource Guide is available in print and digital formats and will be distributed through local nonprofits, service providers, and public agencies.
