Julie Reagan

Julie Reagan

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO, Julie serves as chief connector, convener, and leader. Julie has served the foundation in a variety of capacities during her five years with the organization, including development, marketing, and grant-making.

Julie enjoys meeting people, finding out their passion, and then figuring out how CFBC can partner alongside that passion to make a greater impact.She believes CFBC provides that same opportunity for everybody, regardless of where you live, how much money you have, or what your passion is.

Julie is a member of the 2024 John Mutz Philanthropic Leadership Institute and has several years of leadership experience in community foundations and higher education. She and her husband live in Lebanon with their two sons. As a family, they enjoy seeing new places, being active, and watching football. Julie also enjoys quilting!

FINANCE & OPERATIONS

Annette Jones

Annette Jones

Director of Finance & Investments

Annette handles the daily accounting aspects of CFBC, helps manage the endowment of over $33 million, and enjoys seeing how those dollars make an impact in the community.​  Her experience is a mix of public and corporate accounting. Before coming to the Foundation, Annette served as Chief Financial Officer for Trinity Safety Group and handled budgeting, reporting, and consulting. She was also formerly the Director of Finance and Compliance at the Indiana Soybean Alliance.

Annette is a Boone County Mentoring Partnership mentor and serves as board treasurer for Packing Hope. Previously she was treasurer for the Yes to LCSC referendum committee and the Town of Ulen. Annette lives in Lebanon with her husband and two children and has been active as the assistant cross-country coach at Lebanon High School, Lebanon High School Booster board member, and Lebanon High School Touchdown club member.

Crystal Dimiceli

Director of Operations

Crystal manages all aspects of the office, ensuring each area has what it needs to operate both efficiently and effectively. She takes the lead on systematic process improvements throughout the office, processes donations, assists with financials and reconciliations, governance, accreditation, and more.

Crystal has always had a heart to serve others and it is very important to her to give back right where you live. Prior to joining CFBC, Crystal spent several years organizing and managing multiple local nonprofit organizations, including youth sport programs, and enjoys volunteering her time to fill local needs.

Outside of the foundation, Crystal and her husband have lived in Lebanon for 20 years. They love camping and spending time outdoors together with their four children. She enjoys reading, watching her kids in sporting events and their hobbies, and traveling with family and friends – especially to the beach.

Samantha Cotten

Samantha Cotten

Director of Communications

Samantha consistently is sharing the work of the Community Foundation of Boone County with our community. She is passionate about storytelling and developing creative ways to keep everyone connected, informed, and inspired.

Samantha has worked in a variety of industries over her 17+ year career in communications, most recently in public education. She enjoys developing close relationships with industry, nonprofits, and community leaders to create opportunities and growth.

She and her husband live in Crawfordsville with their two daughters. While Samantha is CFBC’s Director of Communications by day, she is a professional dance mom by night. She can routinely be found cheering on her daughters and the Talent Factory Company competition dance team. Samantha also enjoys reading, traveling, and summertime Jeep rides.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

Ali Maxey

Ali Maxey

Director of Education & Grantmaking

Ali manages all areas of education within the foundation and our competitive grant programs available to Boone County-serving nonprofit organizations. This includes executing $250,000+ in scholarships/year, managing relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders, and works closely with our Grants Committee to ensure our competitive grant cycles meet the current needs of the community.
Ali has always known she wanted to pursue a professional role where she is helping others. Throughout her career, she has continued to focus on identifying needs and working through solutions in various industries. Outside of the foundation, Ali resides in her hometown of Zionsville with her husband and two kids. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, listening to an eclectic mix of music spanning all decades, and taking naps when possible. She is consumed by wanderlust and fondly reminiscent of her previous travels to over 35 different countries.
Michele Thomas

Michele Thomas

Program Associate

Michele’s role at CFBC is to support the grant and scholarship process. She has interacted with the Foundation in many ways over the last 15 years, as a volunteer, employee of a CFBC-funded nonprofit literacy organization, and board member of another partner nonprofit. She’s delighted to join as a staff member to further the CFBC mission and build up Boone County.

With an employment history in publishing, journalism, the nonprofit sector, elected public office, and higher education, Michele has found ways to pour into her communities.

Outside of work, Michele has a prince of a husband and three grown daughters and helps care for her mother. She’s typically reading two to three books and enjoys visiting her far-flung family, bike rides, walking her dopey dog, cooking, and needlework.

Hope Coons

Hope Coons

Director of Community Engagement

Hope focuses on relationships with nonprofits, grantees, and fund advisors. She develops meaningful relationships with Boone County-serving nonprofit organizations by understanding their work and unique needs. She also coordinates several community programs, including the Women of Impact Boone County giving group, Boone County Nonprofit Network, and Connect Boone County.

Hope has a passion for building relationships, meeting new people, solving problems to improve Boone County, and investing in the local community. She has worked in various roles, including working with people with disabilities and as an educator in the classroom.

Hope resides in Whitestown with her husband and two kids. She enjoys going for walks with her family, finding local activities to do with her kids, and exploring new coffee shops and restaurants with her husband.
