Samantha Cotten

Samantha consistently is sharing the work of the Community Foundation of Boone County with our community. She is passionate about storytelling and developing creative ways to keep everyone connected, informed, and inspired.

Samantha has worked in a variety of industries over her 15+ career in communications, most recently in public education. She enjoys developing close relationships with industry, nonprofits, and community leaders to create opportunities and growth. 

She and her husband live in Crawfordsville with their two daughters. While Samantha is CFBC’s Director of Communications by day, she is a professional dance mom by night. She can routinely be found cheering on her daughters and the Talent Factory Company competition dance team. Samantha also enjoys reading, writing, and summertime Jeep rides. She is a travel expert and even works as an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and travel agent!
