CFBC Thanks Mary Hatton & Welcomes Annette Jones!

The Community Foundation of Boone County thanks Mary Hatton for her service and welcomes Annette Jones to the team as Director of Finance & Investments.

For the last two and a half years, Mary Hatton has been the Director of Finance, managing the Foundation’s endowment of more than $30 million and handling daily accounting duties. Mary looks forward to spending more time with family and friends and traveling this Fall. She will continue to participate in the work of the Community Foundation by serving on the Scholarship and Audit Committees, as well as being a member of Women of Impact Boone County. Mary is very grateful for the time she has spent at CFBC and looks forward to continuing to work with the nonprofits in the community.

Boone County resident Annette Jones is stepping into the Director of Finance & Investments role. Jones’s experience is a mix of public and corporate accounting. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer for Trinity Safety Group and handled budgeting, reporting, and consulting. Before Trinity Safety Group, Jones was Director of Finance and Compliance at the Indiana Soybean Alliance.

Jones is an excellent fit for the position because, in addition to her financial knowledge, she is active in Boone County. She is a Boone County Mentoring Partnership mentor and serves as board treasurer for Packing Hope. Previously she was treasurer for the Yes to LCSC referendum committee and the Town of Ulen. Jones lives in Lebanon with her husband and two children and has been active as the assistant cross-country coach at Lebanon High School, Lebanon High School Booster board member, and Lebanon High School Touchdown club member.

“We are so thankful for the strategic direction Mary has provided the Foundation. She has set us up for success and made the transition seamless. I am thrilled to welcome Annette to the team, and I look forward to her growing our investments and helping our nonprofit and donor network,” remarked Jodi Gietl, Community Foundation of Boone County President & CEO.
