The Community Foundation of Boone County (CFBC) is proud to announce $305,000 in grant funding to support organizations advancing early childhood and lifelong learning efforts across Boone County.
This funding is part of CFBC’s broader commitment to strengthening educational opportunities at every stage of life. The following organizations will receive funding through annual disbursements:
-
- $150,000 to Child Care Answers to expand support for child care resources and services benefiting Boone County families
- $125,000 to the Early Learning Coalition of Boone County to support the hiring of a dedicated director and strengthen early childhood coordination efforts
- $30,000 to the Learning Network of Boone County to support increased demand for adult education, including language acquisition programs
“These investments reflect our commitment to building a strong foundation for learning in Boone County for all ages and abilities. By supporting organizations that serve both young children and adult learners, we are helping create a more connected, educated, and thriving community.”
Together, these investments aim to increase access to quality education, support working families, and build long-term capacity within Boone County’s learning ecosystem.
Additional details about the $1 million large-scale grantmaking initiatives will be shared publicly at the beginning of May.
These grants are made possible because the Community Foundation of Boone County received a $1.5 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. in December 2025 through its Giving Indiana Funds for Tomorrow Initiative (GIFT).
