The Community Foundation of Boone County is excited to announce a continuation of the community matching grant initiative started in 2020. The goal of this initiative is to partner with a wide range of Boone County nonprofits to address their needs and the Boone County residents they serve.

“In 2020, we surveyed our nonprofits to see how needs changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on what they told us, we adjusted our grant opportunities to best address their needs. We are continuing this granting approach in 2021 and are extremely proud to announce this grant opportunity for Boone County-serving nonprofit organizations, to ensure our grant dollars are making the greatest impact on the number of Boone County residents served.” – Barb Schroeder, Director of Grants

Eligible Boone County nonprofits with a 501(c)(3) tax status in good standing are invited to apply for up to $15,000 in matching dollars. The application opens June 21 and the deadline to apply is July 13, at 12:00 pm. Applicants will be notified July 29 the dollar amount they can receive in matching funds, based on the needs and funds available. The matching funds must be raised during the official fundraising timeline of August 1-October 29, 2021.  Click here for a full timeline and to apply: https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=cfboone.

Through this matching grant initiative, dollars donated to participating nonprofits will be matched, up to the maximum amount awarded. This is the perfect time for community members to support the nonprofits who work to impact the many Boone County residents they serve.
