Join us for our Leadership Conference to further your knowledge on what it takes to be an effective leader here in Boone County. People from both for-profit and non-profit sectors will come together, all with a common interest in leadership and civic responsibility. You will learn how to hone your leadership influence, get more done with less effort, maximize relationships, communicate more effectively, and focus on what really matters.

REGISTRATION | Register by June 10, 2019. *Participants will complete the Energy Leadership Index assessment prior to the conference. This will be emailed to you the week before the conference.

MEET THE SPEAKERS

 

TOM EASTERDAY

Outside Auditor & Executive Advisor, SIA

Executive Advisor, North American Subaru, Inc.

Tom joined Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. in 1989 and retired from there in 2018. During his 29 years at SIA, he was the first American appointed to the SIA Board of Directors and was promoted to Senior Executive Vice President, Secretary, and Chief Legal Officer.

Tom is, and has been, active in organizations at the local, state, and national levels, including award winning volunteer leadership positions with: Community Foundation of Boone County, Indiana Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts of America, Indiana University Health, Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Association of Global Automakers, Indiana Chamber of Commerce Foundation, SIA Foundation, March of Dimes, National Association of Manufacturers, Lafayette Parks Foundation, Zionsville Town Council, and has coached Special Olympics athletes for 15+ years.

He has spoken at multiple conferences on legal, business, and environmental matters, and is the recipient of many prestigious awards, including: Excellence in Manufacturing Innovation Award, Champion of Diversity Award, Bridge of Friendship Award, Margaret J. Hand Child Advocacy Award, and Indiana Business Leader of the Year Award. He was also inducted into the Indiana Manufacturing Hall of Fame.

 

ERIN SLATER

Intentional Coaching + Consulting

Passionate about coaching, Erin serves for-profit and non-profit leaders and their teams. She helps to create clarity and focus, while enhancing leadership and self-awareness. She received numerous accolades for her leadership ability and accomplishments including the IBJ’s 40 Under 40 Award, Junior Achievement’s Indy’s Best & Bright Award, and the Torchbearer Award from the Indiana Commission for Women.

Erin spent most of her career growing and leading a non-profit organization which now reaches nine states and serves 3,500  kids with nearly 100,000 volunteer service hours per year. During her six years as CEO, College Mentors for Kids doubled the number of volunteers, staff, and income, while implementing strategic fundraising strategies and working collaboratively with the board and stakeholders to create a solid strategic direction for expansion.

She is a Certified Professional Coach and Master Practitioner of the Energy Leadership Index through the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching and credentialed Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation.
