During the first round of 2023 matching grants, which focused on supporting the education of and development in mental health, CFBC awarded a total of $20,000 to three organizations. These recipients had from April 15 – June 15 to raise their awarded matching amount – and these Boone County organizations were up for the challenge! The $20,000 in matching dollars resulted in nearly $50,000 raised!
Boone County Mentoring Partnership
Boone County Mentoring Partnership received a matching grant of $6,500 to expand their mental health support for Boone County Youth.
Boys & Girls Club of Boone County
Boys & Girls Club of Boone County used their $5,400 grant to raise a total of $15,208 to support Boone County youth and mental health initiatives.
The Cabin Counseling & Resource Center
The Cabin Counseling & Resource Center also exceeded their $8,100 amount and raised $9,735 for a total of $17,835 to aid in the education and development of mental health.
