Twenty five years ago, the Community Foundation of Boone County (CFBC) hired founding Executive Director, Beth Casselman. Today, CFBC is pleased to announce Beth Cassleman has been elected as the Community Foundation’s board chair for 2016.

Beth is the Executive Director of The Clowes Fund and has served as a CFBC board member since 2009. She also serves on the National Center for Family Philanthropy Friends of the Family advisory committee and the Zionsville Architectural Review Committee, which awards grants for façade renovations. Previously she served as chair of the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance (IPA) board, United Way of Central Indiana’s Boone County advisory board, and on executive search committees for several nonprofits. Beth has contributed to a variety of philanthropic conferences and publications. Professionally, she was most honored in 2012 to receive IPA’s Susie Hazelett Award for Leadership in Grantmaking in recognition of her integrity and mentoring of other professionals.

“We are excited to have Beth’s expertise and leadership particularly as we celebrate our 25th year,” says CFBC President & CEO, Jen Pendleton.  “Beth brings strategic thinking and focus to our foundation work and has a great passion for Boone County. 2016 is set to be an exciting year in many ways under her leadership.”

Other members of the CFBC Executive Committee will remain in their position for another term.  Dr. Ray Ingham, CEO of Witham Hospital will serve as Vice Chair, Mike Harlos of City Securities, Treasurer, and Suzy Rich of One America continues as Secretary.   All members of the Executive Committee represent a different community in Boone County.
