CFBC AWARDS $120,000 IN IMPACT MATCHING GRANTS TO

FOUR BOONE COUNTY-SERVING NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

In 2020 and 2021, CFBC awarded matching grants to participating nonprofits with the goal of partnering with Boone County nonprofits to address their needs and the Boone County residents they serve. Due to the success of both programs and the continued increasing local needs, CFBC is continuing this program at a higher impact level in 2022. CFBC invited eligible Boone County-serving nonprofits to apply for a limited number of competitive impact matching grants, with preference given to programming focused on elderly, disabled, or mental health. Each of the following nonprofit organizations will receive a matching grant of up to $30,000: Boone County Senior Services, Inc., ILADD, Inc.  (Intellectual Living for Adults with Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities), SAWS (Servants At Work), and Boone County Cancer Society. The four participants will raise matching funds during May 1 – September 1, 2022. “The CFBC Board of Directors, Staff, and Grants Committee are excited to launch a milestone, impact matching grant opportunity for 2022, as a way to continue filling local unmet needs on a larger scale to make a greater impact.” – Jodi Gietl, CFBC President/CEO Now is the time for community members to support the nonprofits who work to impact the many Boone County residents they serve. Every dollar donated to the participating nonprofits directly will be matched, up to the maximum amount awarded. Below are the four grantees.
